The weekend saw the end of Men’s 1st XI recent bad run of form with a comfortable 4-1 victory over City of P’boro and consolidated their position in the top half of the Premier B Division.
Other Men’s games saw two games against local rivals Stevenage with the 3rd XI moving off of the bottom with a 4-2 victory against Stevenage 2nd XI and the clubs’ 6th XI playing each other too with Letchworth just emerging victors in a 1-0 victory. The 4th XI remain mid-table despite a recent run of defeats and the 5th XI remain top after an emphatic 5-1 victory over Berkhamsted with goals from Gary Pond (2), Ken Hall, Martin Major & Ian Hammond.

The Ladies 1st XI lost to Waltham Forest and need to pick up a few points in their remaining games to avoid the possibility of relegation. The 2nd XI narrowly beat Bedford with the only goal of the game coming from Helen Hewlett and the 3rd XI beat Chess Valley to keep alive their hopes of staying in Division 1.
